You can’t even compare the backdrop of the finish area with anywhere else in the world.  The mountains here are simply majestic!

The weekend so far has been great. The weather has never been better, and the fact that my race didn’t go according to plan was a bummer, but that day was much better knowing all the girls and I were there to help support the relief efforts in Haiti. It was great to see all the girls so into it! and there is even talk about doing something for a cause more often!

Another great surprise! My sister came over to give me some sister love and luck!  Thanks everyone for always lending a helping hand!!!  I do believe we can all make the world a better place one little step at a time.

Oh an Austrian was yodelling on a mountain so high, when along came a ……….. interrupted his cry!

One of our favorite things to do as a kid was yodel on the ski hill…. And then when you get to the alps, its all about Rodelling!!!!  Thrashing down the mountain on a sled with two skis. Smashing into corners hoping no one is behind you to run you over!  Hip flexers burning as you dig your heels into the snow to try and keep one tiny bit of control. Snow flying in your face, wind flowing through your hair!  Pure chaos……..
