Jules Taking It Easy Today and Her Yardsale Was Shut Down
Posted by Stephan on February.19th, 2010

Stoke!
Just a quick update on Julia’s last 24 hours:
- After the flower ceremony it was all about getting through interviews and then rushing her out to town to do more interviews.
- Medals ceremony at 7
- US Ski Team house reception at 8
- USOC reception and honorable awards for Kazuko and Chris at 8:30
- A quick pop-over to a party being thrown at a house Jules rented for her team
- A 9:30 departure home to sleep.
- This morning, she hooked up some free ski runs with the team, followed by therapy
- Followed by the after noon off. MUCH DESERVED!
In other news: Jules’ Shop was shut down. Yes, apparently we overlooked IOC Bye-law 3, Rule 41 which states:
“Except as permitted by the IOC Executive Board, no competitor, coach, trainer or official who participates in the Olympic Games may allow his person, name, picture or sports performances to be used for advertising purposes during the Olympic Games.”
It’s really unfortunate, because of all the excitement about the lingerie and hoodies and not to mention all the advertising going on elsewhere! What’s up with that? Anyway, on March 4th, we’ll have everything back up. Voice your opinion with a comment.
See you tomorrow at the Super G!
