Day 3 was tough! The full intensity of the day becomes clear when you take a look at the state of our party: one has tummy issues; another has blocked sinuses, one AMS and another rolled her ankles several times! We sleep some 11 hours a night: crazy but necessary. This altitude makes you into a zombie! Last night at about 2AM Chems ventured into the dark to go pee and tripped on a large rock. Imagine failing to reach the top of the mountain now towering over us (yesterday we covered serious ground) and your reason being because you fell over having a pee. Ha ha. That would suck!
