In a time of healing | Happy New Years!
I think we may all have that moment of what am I going to do with my life, right? New Years Eve is tonight for me and 'tis the season of setting new goals. I have always been a huge believer in the power of positive thinking, and it hasn't changed a single bit during this time of injury. I know this is a GoPro add, but it really resonates with me. This is your life, be a hero. We can all be the hero of our story, and by doing that you will inspire so many people in your l

Ski racing can be a tough sport. We endure some crazy forces and of course all of our bodies take a beating in the meantime. I have been competing on the world tour since I was 15 years old, and that might be why I am about to reach the record of starts on the world cup! I have always searched for the very best professionals in re-hab and physical training, and I have always funded it myself. Where is the snow!
It's easy to be the observer when you don't get to participate:) While I am happily sipping fresh coconuts on the beach of fiji, I am observing what has been a long awaited snowy bliss in California! The El NiƱo season is delivering in the west and the beautiful pictures that keep coming in from Squaw Valley all looking amazing. I am in serious fomo (fear of missing out!) here. I guess it's ok since I can't ski anyway..(sad face) but I am so happy for my friends and family a

Now who doesn't love a great jibjab card:) Dylan and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Aloha Jules

Christmas eve in Fiji!
It's a beautiful, sunny day here in Fiji and It feels great to be in the sun. I have to admit, that my plan was always to be in Fiji for Christmas, even before I had to get surgery. Its a crazy contrast to being in the snow, and I do miss it, but i am so happy to be in the most amazing place with such amazing people! Thanks so much to everyone who tuned in to my blog so far, and I really appreciate the feedback!! I know I am infamous for typo's, so I am really trying to slow

Holiday season! time for an experiment:)
Being injured has given me lots of time. I look at every road block as an opportunity to learn and grow as a person. In between the hours and hours of hip circles, and glute excersizes, I have also been spending lots of time on the computer. I guess since I've been feeling a little bit down, it gives me motivation to improve things in my life. Recently I have been hearing a lot about this ketogenic diet. I have always been a fan of Bulletproof coffee since i first tried

3 weeks out!
